Medical Care

​Ely Community Health Center offers free basic healthcare services including:
  • Treating minor injuries and acute illnesses such as infections
  • Monitoring chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma and depression
  • Prescriptions and refills
  • Physicals and education
  • Referrals for ancillary services such as lab & x-ray through Ely Bloomenson Community Hospital. These services are not currently available on site.
  • Referrals for other community resources

The medical clinic is open on Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00pm. No appointment is needed.

​Our medical staff is composed of licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, LPNs, and EMTs who volunteer their time outside of their regular practice.

MNsure Navigation

​Navigating the world of Health Insurance can be confusing and cumbersome.  Ely Community Health Center employs a certified MNsure Navigator to help answer your questions and provide you with assistance enrolling in a healthcare plan. We can also help with enrolling in public assistance programs such as Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare 

Community Referrals and Connections

​Ely Community Health Center is a proud member of the Ely Community Care Team which allows us to stay informed about area services that could benefit our clients. We offer resources and referrals to other organizations that can assist with mental health, housing needs, and food insecurities.
